About the Diagonal Knot
While the Diagonal Knot may not have as many steps as more complex knots, it is still not considered a quick and easy knot to master. Spend extra time in the finishing stages to make sure that the knot sits correctly.
This knot is aptly named for the diagonal line formed in the final steps. Once you’ve mastered the Diagonal Knot, try your hand at the Eldredge Knot or Trinity Knot.
