Start your engines and strap a classic racing watch to your wrist. The Monterey can time you, measure your speed, and is designed from the ground up with professional driving in mind. Its tactile crown and buttons are even designed to be operated with gloves on.

This men’s watch sports a surgical-grade stainless steel case with a screwed-on caseback, earning it a water resistance rating of 10 ATM (100 metres). Just make sure the crown is closed before you jump in.

Double-domed mineral glass with anti-reflective coating makes the watch instantly readable in any light, and high-grade glow-in-the-dark hands and indices ensure you can still tell the time in the night hours of Le Mans. The dial sports a 24-hour clock on a subdial at 3 and a discrete date window at 6.

Its reliable Seiko chronograph movement allows you to time events up to 60 minutes, as displayed on the subdial at 9 o’clock, and the tachymeter on the inside of the bezel lets you tell the speed, provided you know the distance for reference.

The genuine leather racing straps don’t just prevent sweaty wrists – the three big holes on either side make the strap more elastic than standard leather straps, increasing comfort. Their quick-release bars make them easy to swap out on the fly without special tools. The buckle proudly carries the Fawler logo.
